There are several different types of mutated Driftwood used in crafting. They may seem like different items at first glance, but they
Mythical Driftwood
This comes from Driftwood caught with the Mythical Rod, or appraised into the Mythical mutation. You can use it to craft the following rods:
- Precision Rod
- Wisdom Rod
Lunar Driftwood
This comes from Driftwood caught during the Moonlight Mirage event, gaining the Lunar Mutation. You can use it to craft the following rods:
- Resourceful Rod
Frozen Driftwood
This is Driftwood with the Frozen mutation. You can use it to craft the following rods:
- Seasons Rod
Atlantean Driftwood
This comes from Driftwood caught with the Trident Rod, gaining the Atlantean Mutation. You can use it to craft the following rods:
- Riptide Rod
Ancient Wood
A type of wood caught exclusively around the waters of Sunstone Island as a Legendary catch. You can use it to craft the following rods:
- The Lost Rod
Inferno Wood
A type of wood caught exclusively inside Roslit Volcano’s lava pool as a Mythical catch. You’ll need the Magma Rod to do this. You can use it to craft the following rods:
