About The Long Pike
The Long Pike is one of the three catches in the Secret Rarity at the time of writing. As the name might suggest, it resembles the much more common fish, the Pike. Except… long. Very elongated in the middle. Like other Secret fish, it sells for a very high price, despite being relatively low weight.
How To Catch A Long Pike
The first thing you need to know if you want to try and reel in a Long Pike is where to find one. The Long Pike is found in the Ocean biome, that’s outside the immediate waters of any of the islands. You’ll know you’re in the Ocean area when the map indicators for the islands appear on your HUD.
The Long Pike prefers the following conditions and bait.
- Preferred Seasons: Spring or Autumn
- Preferred Time: None
- Preferred Weather: Rain
- Preferred Bait: Insects
Because of its low weight, we’d recommend a fishing rod with a low weight limits, as you won’t have any trouble with the fish’s size, and a low weight limit might rule out a lot of the larger fish in the area. The higher luck you can get through your rod, enchant, or environmental effects, the better.r
