Fisch Lore Guide

Feature image for our Fisch lore guide. It shows the NPC Perdido, a shadowy figure huddled in a cave.

Fisch is one of the biggest games on Roblox. We love the game and what it has to offer gameplay-wise, and if you’re reading this you might, too. However, there’s also a lot to explore. The Fisch lore is as deep as the desolate deep, and it might give some hints about what we can look forward to in the future. Let’s run over a few key points.

Maybe also take a look at our Fisch Mariana’s Veil update guide for some of the more recent changes.

Fisch Lore Guide

Here we’ll go over any interesting bits of lore we’ve found regarding different parts of the Fisch world.

The Founding Fisher, And Keepers

You might have heard of Keeper’s Altar under the Statue Of Sovereignty. You might have even run across the Keeper’s Secret at Mushgrove, but do you know what a Keeper is? If you speak to Marina at the Statue Of Sovereignty, she’ll tell you about who the statue is of. Oscar, the Founding Fisher was able to catch all kinds of sea creatures, with only a Carbon Rod, due to his power as a Keeper.

Supposedly, these individuals are living gods, each with supernatural powers of their own. Have we met a Keeper in the flesh yet?

Vertigo, And Its Ghosts

If you jump through a Strange Whirlpool you can find yourself in Vertigo. It is an abyss that one of its residents, Synth, describes as ‘a fantasy’. The only way out is through leaving the game and returning to another spawn point, or using the Conception Conch to warp out.

Vertigo, and its adjoining area, The Depths, are strange places, and are also full of ghosts. Initially, there was only Perdido, who sits at the end of a remote passage. More ghosts have appeared in Vertigo over time. Perdido, if you can find him, has some interesting things to say. He says that being able to see him implies that the gods favor you, and refers to you as ‘Prophet’. He also indicates that things might change with him one day.

The Gods Of Atlantis

Down in the sunken city of Atlantis, you can still speak to the gods. Poseidon, Zeus, Ares, and Athena all inhabit the area. They’re not quite as impressive as you might imagine. They look a lot like the ghosts of Vertigo and The Depths. They do maintain that they were worshipped in Atlantis, with Zeus feeling aggrieved that Poseidon’s shrine is bigger.

Ares also has some ominous things to say about ‘amusing wanderers’ being dangerous once they get the ‘power of the masses’. Concerning.

The Lantern Keeper

The peculiar figure of the Lantern Keeper appears at Moosewood. He has the same strange twitches as the ghosts in vertigo and spEAks vEry strAnGELY. He also seems to pause for a suspiciously long time before deciding he’s called the Lantern Keeper. Almost like he’s not sure what he’s called. Odd fellow.

The Disaster At Sunstone

According to Rhea, at Sunstone Island, the place was intended to be a quarry. Then, it was abandoned when ‘something weird’ happened. She doesn’t appear to know her details, though implies that her father knows something about it. She also implies that her father is Merlin. Did Merlin do something that scared the workmen off the island?

The Storms

Storms in the world of Fisch appear to have power. Supposedly, the storm over Northern Summit was responsible for the Atlantean Storm over Grand Reef, and the subsequent discovery of Atlantis. The actions of the fishers seems to keep on impacting the world. Who knows when it will end?
