The newest Fisch update has many surprises, one being rocks raining from the sky. Meteors are pretty flashy, but they’re also the key to a bunch of new items, so don’t underestimate how useful they can be! Our Fisch Meteor guide is here to tell you everything you need to know about the new event, and what to do when you see one.

Fisch is out now on Roblox. If you’d like to learn about all the new content this week, check out our Fisch update guide.

Now onto the details.

The Meteor Event

A Meteor event is pretty easy to see if you’re in the area. A huge fiery chunk of rock hurtles out of the sky and crash lands on the beach in the Ancient Isles. If you’re in its path, you should probably get out of the way. Not because you’ll die. Rather last time we checked there was a glitch where the Meteor bugged on touching a player and wouldn’t drop its loot. That’s even worse than dying.

Meteor strikes happen at random, though you can also spawn one using the Meteor Totem, which will summon one up as a one-use item.

Meteor Event Drops

So, why should you care about Meteors falling? Because they drop useful items when they do! Head to where the Meteor fell and you should find a big crater, and if you’re lucky you’ll find some Gems in there too.

Gems are items used in the new crafting mechanic, and they’re a key component for building some of the all-new fishing rods, so naturally the player base are pretty eager to get their hands on some. So make sure you head to the crater ASAP unless you enjoy the luxury of a private server, you might have a bit of competition for the treasure!
