About The Molten Banshee
The Molten Banshee is a really weird-looking fish that dwells in the lava of Roslit Volcano. It’s one of the small and sought-after club of fish known as the Exotic rarity, a category it shares with only five other catches.
It’s essential for the completion of the Roslit Volcano Bestiary, though you could earn the bobber for the bestiary without catching it in pervious versions, as the Exotic tier is a relatively new addition.
How To Catch The Molten Banshee
If you want to even think about catching the Molten Banshee, you need to be able to fish in the lava pools in Roslit Volcano. (Or maybe they’re magma pools, but let’s not get too hung up on technicalities.) If you want to do that you need to get the Magma Rod, which comes from the NPC, Orc. Once you have the rod, then you can start fishing. The Molten Banshee prefers the following conditions.
- Preferred Seasons: Summer
- Preferred Time: None
- Preferred Weather: Clear
- Preferred Bait: Truffle Worms
Keep in mind that you can still catch the Molten Banshee outside of these conditions, and with different bait, or no bait at all. The info above is just the conditions that give you the best possible chance of catch one per cast.
