About The North Star Rod
The North Star Rod is a limited edition fishing rod with the following stats.
- Lure Speed: 5%
- Luck: 30%
- Control: 0.04
- Resilience: 12%
- Max Weight Of Fish: 875kg
Unlike its other Advent Calendar counterpart, the Antler Rod, the North Star Rod doesn’t have a special passive and doesn’t give the Jolly mutation to catches. On the other hand it comes with more solid stats. It’s a good option if you’re just starting out and only have Moosewood Rods to depend on.
How To Get The North Star Rod
The North Star Rod can’t be bought or crafted, the only way to get hold of this fishing rod is through the seasonal Fischmas event, and the advent calendar. In fact, you’ll need to call in and collect it on a particular day if you don’t want to miss it… assuming you don’t want to part with any Robux for the privilege. The North Star Rod is the prize for on Day 9, so the 15th of December. Make sure you head to Moosewood on that day and speak with the Tom Elf NPC by the docks to collect it.
You should probably pay him a visit every day until Christmas to pick up the daily freebie, but if it’s the rod you want, then 15th is the day.
