Fisch Orca Migration Guide

First let’s talk about what Orca Migrations are, then how to use them to catch Orcas.

About Orca Migration

Orca Migrations are a new event introduced to Fisch with the Orca Update. It’s somewhat similar to events like Shark Hunt or Kraken Hunt, but with a few crucial differences. For a start, you’re fishing for Orcas, or Killer Whales as they’re also knows.

Secondly, unlike other hunt events, it’s not focused on a static spot in the sea. Instead, the Orca Migration will move from one side of the map to the other.

How To Catch An Orca During The Orca Migration

The Migration gives you a chance to catch an Orca. Like Shark Hunts, the number is limited, though a little more generous, with up to five up for them up for grabs. The Migration moves through the map, with the pod visible above the surface of the water.

You need to cast your line into the midst of the pod for a chance to catch one, but it’s a little tricky as they tend to keep moving. You need to keep positioning yourself and your boat ahead of the pod again, or they will leave you behind.

When a pod is active, you should see a trail of blue arrows leading across the map. These indicate the direction the pod is headed. There’s a migration spot at the very end of the path. If there are any Orca left in the pod by the time they reach it.
