Somewhere over the rainbow is the Fisch Rainbow Cluster Rod. With a pretty and colourful design, good stats, and multiple passives, it makes for a great mid-game rod. I’ll explain how to get it for yourself, and hope my bias towards it doesn’t show too much.

Fisch Rainbow Cluster Rod
The Rainbow Cluster Rod is a large pink rod with tints of green and a rainbow around the handle.
Rainbow Cluster Rod Stats
Although not the best rod in the game, it does have high stats in luck and lure speed. I am biased, though, as I would purchase the rod simply for the design.
- Lure Speed: 65%
- Luck: 180%
- Control: 0
- Resilience: 25%
- Max KG: 50,000kg
Passive Abilities
Aside from good stats, this rod also has multiple great passive abilities to make it even more tempting.
- 20% chance to catch something with the Rainbow Cluster mutation.
- This increases value by 8x.
- During Rainbow weather, there is a 35% chance of catching something with the Rainbow Cluster mutation.
- +50% progress speed.
How to Obtain
You can purchase this rod for 250,000C$ from Castaway Cliffs during Rainbow weather. This event has a small chance of happening after rain. Or, you can use a Rainbow Totem to force it to happen.
The Rainbow Totem is a reward you get when completing an Angler Quest, but it isn’t guaranteed. There is a 3.20% chance of getting the totem as a reward, and on average, you’ll need to complete about 30 quests before you get it. It makes for a tricky item to get a hold of, but I’d say the rod is worth it!
