You can play Fisch for free right now over on Roblox. If you’d like to compare and contrast the stats for all the rods in the game, take a look at our Fisch rods guide.

Right, let’s get into the guide itself.

About The Rod Of Time

The Rod Of Time is an early-game fishing rod with the following stats.

  • Lure Speed: 20%
  • Luck: 25%
  • Control: 0.05
  • Resilience: 20
  • Max Weight Of Fish: 2500kg

The Rod Of Time does not have any passive abilities that we’re aware of. The stats are all it has to recommend it, and honestly they’re fairly low. It’s a little better than some early game rods, and may be useful for fishing common Limited fish in a bit more style, but otherwise it’s not super useful.

How To Get The Rod Of Time

The Rod Of Time is earned through the AFK Mode function. You access it through the mine at Moosewood. You don’t get the rod in one piece, and instead you must find all of the parts, which appear whilst idling AFK. The AFK Mine rolls for a new potential reward every minute, though whether you get a part of the rod, a different reward, or nothing at all is down to random chance. You can, however, raise your AFK Luck in three ways.

  • Premium Membership – Players with Roblox Premium get a +50% Luck boost.
  • Friend Boost – You can get a +10% Luck boost per friend in the server, up to +50% for five friends.
  • AFK Luck – You receive Luck boosts for time spent in the AFK server, with around a 10% bonus for every 15 minutes spent at a time. Leave, and you will lose the bonus.
