Fisch Spooky Rod Obtainment
The Spooky Rod is one of the easier Fischfright rods to obtain, needing only 10 Ingredients in the Witches Cauldron, found at Crook’s Hallows, to unlock.
To get ingredients, you must find a Goblin that spawns around the map every 5 minutes. Each spawn cycle, there will be no more than 2 Goblins at once. Those that spawn appear at Moosewood, Forsaken Shores, or Mushgrove Swamp.
Speak to the Goblin and complete their quest to gain a Witch Ingreident. Return this to the Witch Cauldron to get a reward. After 10 Ingredients, you’ll gain the Spooky Rod!

- Resilience: -10%

+10% chance for Frightful mutation (6x Value), +10% chance for Spooky mutation (6x Value), +10% chance for Eerie mutation (6x Value).
The Spooky Rod also has a 50% chance every 1 second to gain +4% Progress and freeze the fish for 1 second, as well as a flat +5% Progress Speed buff.
Is It Worth Obtaining?
Uncomparable to the real meta, the Spooky Rod is a great progression rod for users who haven’t played Fisch in a long time. Myself included! It helps bridge that gap between updates, where Fisch lost a ton of players who now have a lot of catch-up to do.
Also, the Spooky Rod passives allow it to greatly enhance most catches, earning its user quick cash. This allows you to invest in better rods sooner, again helping with getting back on track.
