Fisch Subspace Mutation Guide
First we’ll explain a bit about how the mutation works, then go into how to get the mutation on fish yourself.
About The Subspace Mutation
Subspace fish are easy to recognize. They are a red-pink colour, and let out sparkly pink starts when you hold them. They’re not just visually appealing though, they’re pretty financially appealing, too. Subspace fish sell for an impressive five times their default unmutated value.
How To Get The Subspace Mutation
There’s only one way to get the Subspace mutation, and that’s with a special enchant. A rod with Quantum enchant gives you a 25% chance to reel in a Subspace fish every time you catch something, which is an insanely good money making strategy.
There’s one catch, though. This is an Exalted Enchant. If you want to get a Quantum-enchanted rod, you’ll need something a bit more elusive than your average relic. You need to get hold of an Exalted Relic. You can fish these up anywhere in theory, but they’re extremely rare finds.
The best chance to get an Exalted Relic is through fishing with the Exalted Rod, which you get by placing either special mutated Enchant Relics on the colored altars at Keeper’s Secret. Check out our Fisch Exalted Rod guide if you want a few more details on that process.
Otherwise, you can just keep grinding for them. Keep in mind that there are seven different Exalted Enchants you could get when you enchant your rod, so even if you do get one, there’s still only a one in seven chance that you’ll get the Quantum enchant. I guess what we’re saying is it’s time to get grinding, fischer.
