About Vertigo
Vertigo is a secret area in Fisch. It resembles a cave full of glowing crystals. A main chamber has a merchant, Synth. Synth’s stall sells the Nocturnal Rod, and the Conception Conch, which lets you return to your spawn, because Vertigo has no exit in the conventional sense.
At the bottom of the large pit is a pond. You can catch the following fish there.
- Night Shrimp (Common)
- Spiderfish (Common)
- Twilight Eel (Uncommon)
- Fangborn Gar (Unusual)
- Abyssacude (Rare)
- Voidfin Mahi (Rare)
- Rubber Ducky (Legendary)
- Key To The Depths (Exotic)
The Isonade is part of the Vertigo bestiary, however you don’t catch it in Vertigo! The Isonade is caught through fishing in the Strange Whirlpool.
How To Get To Vertigo
Getting to Vertigo is a little more complicated than just sailing there on the map. You’ll need some knowledge, and a little bit of luck. Let’s cover it step by step.
- You need to wait for the notification that a Strange Whirlpool has appeared.
- Once you get this, you need to look for the Strange Whirlpool. This resembles a whirlpool with blue lights visible from the top. We’ve included an image above of one, so you should know what to look for.
- When you reach the whirlpool, get off your boat and hop into it. You should sink a little way, then you’ll be transported to Vertigo.
- Keep in mind that you will need to buy a Conception Conch to leave the area, which costs 444C$ from Synth’s stall. If you don’t have the money, you can catch fish in the pond and sell them to Synth to earn money. Or you can just leave the game and return to your spawn point when you rejoin.
