About The Zeus Rod
The Zeus Rod is a late-game rod with the following stats.
- Lure Speed: 40
- Luck: 70%
- Control: 0.25
- Resilience: 15
- Max Weight Of Fish: None
As well as its stats, the Zeus Rod has one special extra ability. It can summon a storm which boosts its own stats, and applies one of two different value-boosting mutations to the fish your catch, either Electric Shock or Charred.
How To Get The Zeus Rod
To get the Zeus Rod, you need to complete Zeus’ Trial. This is found through the portal on the North-facing path inside Atlantis. He along there and jump through the portal to reach the trial room.
The Trial consists of two different games. These each give one half of an eight digit code, that you must enter into the number pad next to the large door at the north end. The challenges are:
- Left-Hand Path – You play this like Red Light Green Light. Walk forwards when the statue is facing away, stop when it turns towards you. Be careful though, sometimes it will turn and then immediately swing back.
- Right-Hand Path – This is a lot like Squid Game’s glass bridge. There are two sets of rocks. One will support your weight if you jump on it. The other will drop right into the lava. There’s no way to know which is which until you jump on it. When we tried it, falling caused you to get Wasted and sent to your spawn point. We’re not sure if this is a bug, but it makes it pretty tricky unless you get lucky with your choices, or have friends who’ll help.
Once you’ve managed to open the room, you can pick up the Zeus Rod for 1,700,000C$.
