FNAF Coop is a Roblox game inspired by Five Nights At Freddy’s. You can play in different roles to complete different tasks, but your aim is to survive the night while animatronics are trying to kill you. Unlike other Five Nights At Freddy’s games, you can play FNAF Coop with friends, so at least you have some moral support to help get you through!

FNAF Coop Roles and How To Get Them
There are a total of four roles. If you want to change your role, go to the settings in the lobby. You will see a label with your current role selected, scroll down and see a list of all the roles you can buy. If you want to buy roles, go to the lobby shop and select ‘role category’. The Janitor role costs 50 coins, The Engineer costs 250 coins, and The Police Officer costs 300 coins.
Basic Roles
There are two basic roles in the game.
- The Night Guard: This is the role you start with when you begin playing. You are in the main office and need to survive in there until 6am. The role offers basic money and has no other offers or benefits.
- The Janitor: If you’re playing as The Janitor, you will have different tasks depending on which FNAF game you choose to play. However, basic tasks include: cleaning the main room and main hall, fixing arcade machines, cleaning party rooms, and fixing electrical outlets. Playing as The Janitor will make you more money, and if you finish all your tasks by 6am, you will default back to The Night Guard role.
Utility Roles
- The Engineer– This is one of the best roles in the game. Your job is to disable animatronics for a set time, which will freeze them in their place for and make them go back to their starting location. However, it is also one of the hardest jobs in the game – as you need to know the route animatronics will be taking to be able to trap them!
- The Police Officer– You will be given a taser that will disable animatronics. It will only do so for a couple of minutes (time varies for each animatronic). This isn’t a great role, as you have to taser them in their face, otherwise it won’t work – so make sure to plan!
