The next Admin Abuse event is scheduled for this Sunday, March 1st, 2026. This will be the pre-release hype event for the ??? UPD, which you can follow via the Roblox Event page.

What To Expect From Admin Abuse
If you played Grow a Garden, you may be familiar with Admin Abuse already.
This feature was a way for game admins to conclude events, giving all players a fair chance to catch up in its final moments. During which, admins would spam overpowered weathers and restock shops with all the exclusive and limited-time seeds, gears, etc.
Admin Abuse will likely have a similar timeframe and goal in Garden Horizons, taking place before new content updates to build hype and entice players to check out what’s new.
However, it likely won’t mirror the GaG experience since the DEVs of Garden Horizons seemed concerned with how Admin Abuse takes away from the experience they’re aiming to deliver in their game.
A Word From The DEVs
This concept, whilst enjoyed, was game-breaking. Seizure Salad, one of the DEVs for Garden Horizons, had this to say:
“I am kinda conflicted with admin abuse as a concept.“
“Admin abuse is possible.”
“Exclusive (rarity) will prolly be event exclusive/admin abuse exclusive or something.“
These three messages, whilst separate, were all sent on 24/11/25. Months before the game release. From this, our main takeaway is that Seizure is keen to make sure that Admin Abuse is done right.
To achieve this, Garden Horizons strikes a delicate balance of fun and growth, whilst staying cosy and slow-paced. Otherwise, they risk Admin Abuse savaging the ecosystem, thrusting thousands of players into the late-game with little to no real gameplay effort on their part. Not very fun overall.

Typically, on weekends. Either just before new content updates and events as they release, or at the end of ongoing events to commemorate their time and send them off.
You will have the chance to experience rarer and unique weather, bringing highly valuable mutations. Alongside this, admins may also restock seed and gear shops to include the rarest available, so you aren’t waiting on RNG chance.
This is a rarity not yet implemented in the game. Seizure implies seeds/gears/etc of this rarity will be obtainable during events in-game, or via Admin Abuse.
Discord and Roblox before anywhere else. Both formats also include a live counter to the event, with a localised time per your timezone.
