Grace Zen Mode – How To Find Its Dark Secret
What Is Zen Mode?
Zen Mode is a new single-player mode in Grace. It removes doors, switches, enemies and hazards and the floor mechanics of Grace. Instead, it gives you a long, endless corridor to run through. This is a good option if you’d like to practice your moves and get better at tricky running techniques like the wall kick.
However, this is not the only thing going on in Zen Mode.
Zen Mode’s Secret Monster
Zen Mode played as normal is perfectly safe, but there’s a way to make it a lot more dangerous. Now, keep in mind that it would be extremely tough to do this by accident, so don’t worry about triggering this without meaning to.
If you’d like to meet the secret hostile entity of Zen Mode, you need to follow these instructions.
- Enter a Zen Mode run.
- Enter a room, and stay there for longer than you otherwise would. About five to ten seconds.
- When you enter the next room, turn around. You should find a pink crack in the wall above the door you just walked through. This shows you’re on the right track, and the summoning has started.
- Keep doing this for several rooms. The crack should get bigger each time.
- Eventually, it should be very big, and the words ‘DO NOT’ should be scrawled underneath it. The crack will not from any bigger from here.
- This will appear in every room you enter from here on out.
- When you’re ready for things to get real, walk up to the pink wall fissure and touch it.
- Run.
