When you first enter Grimoires Era you’ll be given 5 race spins to use. But which race is best fitted for your play style? This section of the guide will break down each race by rarity and buffs.
You can get more races through free redeemable codes and Robux transactions if you’re unhappy with the hand you are dealt within the first 5 free spins.
Common Races
The common race is also your default, so if you are a beginner player this is the race you will automatically be the first time you play. When spinning for races, you have a 60% chance to roll for common.
- Human – +5% Health regen
Uncommon Races
Next up are the uncommon races with a 35% spin chance when rolling for a new race. Those here are still fairly easy to roll for and may not be the best-suited race for your preferred gameplay style.
- Dwarf – +5% Walk speed
Rare Races
Onto the higher tier of races, rares crop up only 4.5% of the time during spins. These races are a vast improvement on both uncommon and common, but miss the edge that Legendary races have. Overall if you roll for a rare race, so long as you enjoy the benefits it’s worth keeping rather than risking the reroll.

Legendary Races
The OP of the bunch! If you roll a legendary race you’re pretty set for the game and are hopefully happy with its versatile benefits. With only a 0.5% spin chance you’ll be extremely lucky to get these races with your beginner 5 free spins!
- Devil – +5% DMG, +5% Life steal
Which Is The Best Race?
Truthfully that is down to your preferred playstyle. Currently, our pick for the best race is the Devil, which is likely unsurprising. But having dual buffs of extra damage on top of regular DMG stats as well as the chance to sap opponents of HP with life steal makes this race a scary foe. You get decked out with double the stats capable of swiftly ending enemies.
