Grow a Garden Beanworks Obtainment
The Beanworks and the Bean Speaker share a unique obtainment, unlike any other gear in Grow a Garden.
To get the Beanworks rocket, speak to the Elder Bean NPC and choose the “I want to join the cause” option. Elder Bean will then assimilate you into the cause by changing your avatar into a Beanling. If you were already a Beanling, speak with the NPC again and re-select the join the cause option to gain both gears.
If you exit GaG and change your avatar, you will lose both the Beanworks and Bean Speaker, but can reclaim them by rejoining the Beanlings.
What Does Beanworks Do?
The Beanworks appears as three beans in a rocket-shaped pod. It has infinite uses and no durability. When interacting with this gear, the rocket will zip into the air with a beam of light and detonate to reveal either the word “Green” or “Bean”. At the same time, a robotic voice will say the word audibly.
And, that’s it… The Beanworks doesn’t apply any exotic mutations to your crops, nor does it work like other gears and enhances productivity. So, what’s the point?
Since the Beanworks gear is only obtainable when wearing the Beanlings avatar, it’s clear that this item is a way to convince other Grow a Garden players to join the cause, aka, the Admin Wars taking place this weekend. Those with the Beanlings’ skin are devoting their loyalty to DEV Jandel, owner of GaG, during this strife.
