Grow a Garden Disco Bee Obtainment
The Disco Bee is the rarest pet in the new Anti Bee Egg with a 0.25% hatch chance. The only way to obtain this egg is through completing the Bear Questline (linked above!).
In short, the Bear requests a crop with a minimum weight limit and mutation (Pollinated or Honeyglazed). Across all 30 quests, each player will only obtain x5 Anti Bee Eggs.
This makes the Disco Bee the rarest pet in the game since it has an unforgivingly low hatch chance, and only 5 chances in total, unlike previous event eggs, which could be bought through an in-game store.
Disco Bee Traits
As a trade-off for its low hatch chance, the Disco Bee gives the regular player an insight into Admin Commands. Every 20 minutes, the Disco Bee has a 12% chance to apply the Disco mutation to a nearby crop.
This Admin-only mutation increases the value of a plant by x125! Alongside Voidtouched, another admin mutation, this is the most valuable mutation in the game at the time of the Disco Bee’s release.
Granted, it’s not a guaranteed chance to apply Disco since that would be too overpowered, but this pet buzzes around your garden as a reminder to all the other players how lucky you are! Plus, it’s hard to miss with its rainbow-shifting body and cool sunglasses.
Is It Overhyped?
For good reason, this pet has become sought-after and very popular since its release. But, does its popularity equate to fame, or a flop?
The Disco mutation is admin-only naturally, so having a pet that bypasses that makes it special by default. That, and the Disco mutation, is highly valued, looks cool, and is necessary if you want to have a crop with the most mutations possible. So, in short, I think this pet is worth the hype.
