The next part of the Beanstalk update arrived, with a bunch of new plants, and even better, new pets. One of the most important ones is the Grow A Garden Griffin pet. Grow A Garden Griffin Pet Guide
About The Griffin
The Griffin is a new pet that was introduced with the second part of the Beanstalk update in Grow A Garden.
The Griffin has a unique passive ability. Every fifteen minutes or so, the Griffin flaps its wings, creating a Cyclone. Pets hit by this Cyclone get their passive ability cooldown cut by around a minute, while any crop hit has a chance to get the Cyclonic mutation.
How To Get The Griffin Pet
The Griffin pet comes from the Skyroot Chest. You can get a Skyroot Chest by crafting one through the Crafting Bench at the top of the Beanstalk. To craft it you’ll need the following ingredients:
- 2 Beanstalks
- Sprout Seed Pack
- Sprout Egg
- 7,500,000 Sheckles
You’ll most likely need more than one though, every Skyroot Chest you open has a 1% chance to give you a Griffin, so it’s a fairly low chance. So you might need to spend time opening a number of chests. You can still use the Beanstalk Crafting Bench even after the Beanstalk has decayed, though the Giant won’t be available until you grow the Beanstalk again.
If you want one, we’d highly suggest planting plenty of Beanstalks to fuel your crafting ambitions. They grow a little slow, so the more plants the better.
