Roblox Page Hints
The Lunar Glow update drops this Saturday, May 10th. The Roblox page describes the update with “Beneath the moon’s glow, this update is filled with lots of new content ready to be uncovered!”
This implies that we will get a night cycle, which may influence plant growth and new mutations. The update also states to prepare for new pets, seeds, gear, and so much more. This message follows up with some emojis, which may hint towards the new content:
- Tornado – This might hint at a Tornado weather event which sweeps through gardens.
- Moon – The addition of a night cycle.
- Cloud – This could hint at a cloudy weather event, where the sun becomes covered.
- Star – Possibly a starfall event (nighttime exclusive?), maybe collecting a fallen star will award players unique seeds.
Lunar Update Discord Page Hints
Over in the Leaks Channel within the Grow a Garden Discord, the DEVS shared a snippet of the Lunar Update. This image shows a server under nightfall, with unusual, never-before-seen plants sprouting from the garden in focus, and some within the plots behind it.
To the left, we see a tree with a muted brown/grey trunk, and large flowers in bloom with glowing vines weaving downwards from its dense purple leaves. In front of it on the floor, we see a colony of glowing green mushrooms. This is a display of two new plants, but that isn’t all!
In the background, there is a tall, straight structure that’s blue with an unusual white top. The white part of the plant somewhat looks like an animal, but this could just be the angle of the image. If I had to guess, it may be an Owl since they’re nighttime predators, and have white variants.
Below the image shared on Discord, the DEVS added a money react, implying these plants will be worth a lot. They may even become the new money meta!
