The Moon Cat is a silver cat pet, with glowing stripes and whiskers.
What does it do? Let’s explain the numbers. These stats are for a Level 10 Moon Cat.
Every minute or so, the Moon Cat will take a nap that lasts around 20 seconds. Fruit in this nap radius will be ~1.5 times the size. This is similar to other cats like the Cat or Orange Tabby. There’s also a chance of any Moon-type fruit to allow you to harvest it twice. This means the following:
- Moon Blossom
- Moon Flower
- Moon Melons
- Moon Mangos
How To Get A Moon Cat
Update: The Night Shop is closed, meaning the Moon Cat is not currently available outside of pet trading.
Moon Cats are available through the new Night Event Shop. This comes up during Night Events in a similar way to the Blood Moon Shop. The Moon Cat costs 100,000,000c to buy. It’s not always in stock, instead, you might have to go through multiple nights before it shows up.
Is The Moon Cat Worth It?
The Moon Cat is a straight-up upgrade to any of the other Cat pets. It can help you make money from Moon-type fruit, but its passive napping ability is also better than other cats. A Level 10 Moon Cat’s cat naps are as powerful as a Level 30 Orange Tabby in our tests. If you like the cat nap passive, but want an upgrade and a bit of extra utility, we’d suggest getting the Moon Cat if you can afford that.
