What is Grow a Garden Playtime Luck – What It Does
Playtime Luck gradually builds the longer a player remains online. It provides a small percentage boost to their base luck, which increases their chance of obtaining higher rarity seeds during pack openings or rarer pets when cracking eggs. It also increases the chance for fruiting plants to grow larger with an easier time of adopting mutations such as Golden and Rainbow.
Is Playtime Luck Legit?
Yes! But it is rare. Playtime Luck was added by the DEV Jandel to compensate for players not tied to Pacific Time, when most new updates drop.
Typically, with a new content update, there are free rewards to claim for a few hours after an event becomes live, but unless you’re from the PST region, it’s hard to make the time to join these burst events.
Jandel didn’t want anyone missing out, so Playtime Luck became the solution! For it to take effect, the player must be within a server outside of the America Servers (PST Timezone). The easiest solution would be to join a Private Server hosted by someone from a European Server!

If you get Playtime Luck, it’ll appear in the bottom right of the game screen, similar to where you can hover over to see the effects of ongoing weather events.

- 5 Minutes: +25% Luck
- 10 Minutes: +50% Luck
- 25 Minutes: +100% Luck
- 45 Minutes: +200% Luck
- 75 Minutes: +300% Luck
