A new update coming this weekend promises to turn back the clock to when the dinosaurs roamed. What awaits there? Here’s what to expect in the Grow A Garden Prehistoric update.

You can play Grow A Garden right now on Roblox. If you’d like to know about the content that’s already out in-game, then maybe take a look at our Grow A Garden update guide.

Grow A Garden Prehistoric Update – What Do We Know So Far?

What We Know

The main source of concrete information comes through the event page and Discord announcement, which have the same text:

“History roars to life! Explore the Prehistoric Event, Packed with dino-sized surprises and all kinds of relics from a forgotten age! Discover and unlock a seed better than the Candy Blossom, multiple other plants, pets, and lots more…”

The first confirmed thing that we want to note is the promise of a crop better than Candy Blossom. This is enough to get quite a lot of players excited. The Candy Blossom has, for a long time, ruled the Grow A Garden crop meta. With no chance for players who missed the Easter event to get hold of one, the question of ‘I this crop the new Candy Blossom?’ has been asked again and again.

The event page also has an image, shown above.

This displays several dinosaurs. Does this mean some dinosaur pets are in the works?

What We Think

Now comes the speculation section. None of this is confirmed; this is us guesstimating a few things based on the previous trends.

  • The new seed that’s supposed to be better than Candy Blossom? Don’t expect it to be easy to get. The Candy Blossom seed was very expensive, and not often in stock when it first appeared, though even that was before the level of hype attached. We’re hoping very hard that this won’t be another 0.5% chance Seed Pack crop and will be something you can buy straight from a merchant… but it’s far from guaranteed.
