Why You Might Need A Wet Carrot
The wet carrot is one of the potential requests of the Angry Plant, the questgiver for the newest in-game event. The Angry Plant requests certain kinds of fruit or vegetables over a certain weight. After a while, the demands get a little bit more specific. The Plant will wish for crops with special mutations. One of these is the wet carrot. If you can give it one of these, you’ll get a Seed Pack in return, but it will also count towards your total for greater rewards.
How To Get A Wet Carrot
A wet carrot is carrot crop that was caught out during the rain storm event. This seems straightforward, but it can be a little bit tricky.
Previously, every crop caught in a rain event would get the wet Mutation; now it’s a bit rarer. Only some crops will gain the mutation every time it rains. So, the best way to get a wet carrot, is to observe the following:
- Plant a lot of Carrots. This is great if you also have the Daily Quest to play 100 Carrot Seeds.
- Wait. The more plants you have out, the better your chance that at least one will pick up the Mutation when it rains.
Make sure, if you do see a carrot that has picked up the Mutation, that you then harvest it quickly. If the weather changes to Snow, it may freeze into the frozen Mutation. These are pretty valuable, but if you’re doing this for the Angry Plant quest, they’re not what you want!
