How To Get Max Luck in Prospecting

Luck is sourced from more than just your panning tools. By mixing and matching between the methods listed below, you can greatly enhance your Luck either permanently or temporarily.

    • Just logging in daily will award you with Luck. The day 5 login streak alone gives Ancient Blessing, which is a permanent +5 Luck Boost.
  • Codes
    • Codes provide temporary luck enhancers! I recommend joining the Prospecting Discord to find all active codes currently.
  • Friends
    • For each friend online, you’ll gain an additional 1.1x Luck. (Stackable)
  • Pans
    • Your pan is the main tool which increases your luck. Investing in a better pan each time that you can will hugely impact the rarity and quantity of your finds.
  • Totems
    • Buy a Luck Totem from the Shard Merchant (Costs 300 $S) using your accumulated Shards (gained from Quests primarily, but also from panning)
  • Alchemy
    • Head into town and buy both the Basic and Greater Luck Potions. These both stack, so it’s worth investing in both to increase your luck.
  • Crafting
    • Depending on your materials, I recommend crafting wearables that enhance luck. When crafting, aim for 3* plus to get better Lucky odds rolled onto your gear.
  • Quests
    • Some quests, such as the Lighthouse questline, will give the player a permanent luck booster once completed.
  • Meteor Shower
    • This rare event applies x2 Luck to all players when in effect.

Why Luck is so Important!

Quests rapidly get more difficult, requiring players to find rarer minerals. Without Luck, this takes an incredibly long time. In addition, rarer minerals create better forged wearables during crafting, and make more money when sold to afford better Pans and Shovels.

So, Luck is essentially the backbone of Prospecting, and makes all the difference when setting early-game to late-game players apart. If you want to complete each area’s mineral journal, you need luck!
