How To Get Sushi In Secret Staycation
The unlock process for Sushi, also known as Tamago Sushi, is one of the most convoluted in the game. We’ll walk you through it step-by-step below, so pay close attention:
Switch to the smallest food you have unlocked. Caviar is ideal, but Cherry Tomato is also an option if you don’t have Caviar yet. From the starting point, turn around and drop off the counter. Turn right and go through the door into the corridor. Continue forward, then turn left and proceed into the bathroom.
Once in, head for the wooden stool and walk up one of its legs. From the top of here, you should be able to walk across the shampoo bottle to reach a narrow wooden ledge. Proceed along this ledge, being very careful not to fall. Try to face the wall and move forward at the same time for safety. At the end of the ledge, jump forward onto the rim of the washing machine door.
There’s a wedge at the top that should stop you from falling. Turn around and jump forward, angling it so that you land on the countertop above. After landing, make your way down into the sink next to the rubber duck.
Now comes the most difficult part of the process. To get to the Sushi, you’ll need to jump up into the mouth of the tap above the sink. This requires pinpoint precision, so you’ll likely need to attempt it a few times before you get it right. To improve your chances of success, try panning the camera above the tap so you can line yourself up below it.
Once you’ve made the tap jump, you’ll be sucked through the pipes to a secret area. Here you’ll finally find the Tamago Sushi. Walk into it to claim it for yourself.
Why Should You Get Tamago Sushi?
Tamago Sushi is more noteworthy for the challenge of collecting it than its gameplay applications. In practice, it’s a fairly standard food with a horizontally oriented body that makes some platforming difficult. Beyond that, though, it’s a badge of honour that proves you conquered one of the Secret Staycation’s toughest challenges. You’ll even receive the “You are life saver” award for doing so.
