How To Get The Ceramic And Clay Mutations In Grow A Garden
Clay and Ceramic mutations are both handy and relatively useful mutations, and to get one, you need the other.
How To Get Clay
The Clay mutation gives a sale price boost of 3x base price. A bit like the Frozen mutation, it’s a combination of different mutations. A crop needs to pick up both the Wet mutation from the Rain event, and the Sandy mutation from the Sandstorm event.
If you get both of these at once, then it turns into the Clay mutation, and your crop gets a weird, brown, shiny texture on it that we’re not sure how we feel about.
How To Get Ceramic
Ceramic is a mutation that gives a 30x boost in sale value. To get the Ceramic mutation, you need to start with the Clay mutation from the steps above. T
When you need to add an extra mutation, this is the Sundried mutation. This comes from the Heatwave event. While the event is running, any crop in the garden has a chance to gain the Sundried mutation. If anything with Clay acquires Sundried, it immediately gains the Ceramic mutation. This gives it a slightly more appealing matte look.
Tips To Acquire Them
- Avoid picking up Sandy or Wet fruit.
- These are some of the way to gaining the mutation.
- Idle in-game as much as possible.
- Rain, Sandstorm, and Heatwave are all weather events, so they happen at random. This means the longer you’re online and in your garden, the more likely you are to get the mutations.
