How to Get The Forge Demonic Key
The Demonic Key is a reward from the Skal NPC located within the Ashen Passage of the Forgotten Kingdom Caves.
Skal requests you find and return x3 Demonite Ores to him in exchange for the Demonic Key.
Finding Skal
When entering the cave, take the right path through the Ashen Passage. Turn right again and head down the hole that’s barely covered by a Basalt Vein. This leads to the Volcanic Depths. From here, head to the back wall on the right and walk down the passage to meet Skal.
Demonite Ore
The Mythical Demonite Ore has a 1 in 3,666 obtainment chance from Volcanic Rocks. This red pillar-like ore has a 5.5x Forging Multiplier and sells for $82.5 as raw Ore.
When used in forging Armour, the Demonite Ore has a 25% chance to burn enemies when the wearer takes damage.
Where To Use the Demonic Key
After retrieving the key, exit the tunnel where Skal resides, and on the right, you’ll see a locked door. The Demonic Key permanently unlocks this area, revealing the Demonic Pickaxe for sale, costing $500,000

Frequently Asked Questions
Despite the higher asking price, a lot of players agree that the Demonic Pickaxe isn’t as efficient as the Arcane Pickaxe, obtained from the Fallen Angel’s Cave.
The Arcane Pick has less mining power, but a higher luck boost and better mining speed, making it more efficient for ore mining.
Your Pickaxe needs a base DMG of 100 to begin breaking Volcanic Rocks.
