How To Get The Secret Fisch Devstring Rod Skin
The Devstring Skin is an Easter egg find for a rod now entirely unobtainable to players. If you already have the Devstring, then this guide will help you flex it that bit more when showing off to the unlucky bunch who didn’t get this tool.
First, locate the Bug at Ancient Isles. This little roly-poly-looking NPC sits on the wooden scaffolding near where the boulders are being lifted. When you click him, he will say one thing and then enter a cooldown before you can interact again. A lot of his commentary is filler, but players discovered one line that changed everything:
“Have you tried typing your user ID backwards?“
This dialogue queue was the key to figuring out the secret Devstring Rod Skin! Fortunately, you don’t need to sit around and keep clicking him until he says this. You can simply join a server, type your unique ID number, and get back to fishing.
How To Find Your User ID
To get your user ID, open your Roblox profile via a browser and check the URL. It will look something like this:
https://www.roblox.com/users/NUMBERSHERE/profile
For privacy, I’m not going to share my own, but your ID will appear as a series of numbers where I have bolded. Copy this number, invert it, and head into Fisch. Type this into the chatbox and hit enter to automatically redeem the secret skin.
Example
If your user ID is 1234567890, you’d input it into Fisch as 0987654321 to claim the skin.
