About The Wind Elemental Rod
The Wind Elemental Rod is a fishing rod with the following stats.
- Lure Speed: 555
- Luck: 555
- Control: 0.055
- Resilience: 55
- Max Weight Of Fish: No maximum weight limit.
Along with these stats, the Wind Elemental Rod has three passive abilities.
- Gets a 50% Progress Speed boost during Windy weather.
- Will potentially instantly fill your catch progress bar to halfway complete.
- Any catches have a chance to get the Breezed mutation, giving them a ten times sale value boost.
How To Get The Wind Elemental Rod
Getting the rod is a difficult task. First, find the Wind Master at the top of the Northern Expedition. Speak to the Wind Master. He will give you three pretty difficult quests to complete.
- The first is to acquire a Big Shiny Bait Crate that weighs exactly 12.8kg. You stand a very tiny chance to get this naturally, so we’d suggest setting out to catch a Shiny Bait Crate, then appraising and re-appraising until you get the correct weight.
- The second is to get a Shiny King’s Blessing Pufferfish. You will need the Poseidon Rod to get the King’s Blessing mutation. We’d suggest trying to catch this one the old-fashioned way due to the specialized mutation that is King’s Blessing.
- Finally, you’ll need to fine a Shiny Blessed Whale Shark. You need to wait for a Whale Shark Hunt to appear, and catch it. You’ll also need to use the Seraphic Rod or the Axe Of Rhoads for this, as they’re the only rods that will give you the Blessed mutation.
