Found yourself in a furniture store that never seems to end? A bit worried about those faceless people wandering around? That’s understandable! Our how to play 3008 beginner’s guide is here to give you the info you need to survive in this well-decorated hellscape.

3008 is a Roblox game inspired by the titular SCP-3008, better known as ‘The Infinite Ikea’. This furniture store pocket dimension has beds, chairs, tables, cuddly toys, and snacks. Unfortunately, it also has strange featureless ‘staff’ who don’t take kindly to people being in their store after dark.

You can grab 3008 on Roblox. If you’re looking for more Roblox, check out our Psychic Playground codes, Slap Battles codes, and Car Crushers 2 codes.

How To Play 3008 Guide

Here we’ll try and cover how to play 3008 and give you everything you need to know.

The Store

You will spawn somewhere inside the store map. It is large, and a lot of the landmarks are very similar, so it’s easy to get lost. Hitting the waypoints icon will let you mark areas that will show up on your HUD with a distance indicator.

Health, Hunger, And Energy

You have three bars to manage. Health, hunger, and energy.

  • Health depletes when you are hurt by Employees. You can replenish it with medkit items.
  • Energy depletes gradually, and drops faster when doing most actions. Physically demanding activities deplete health faster. You can restore it by drinking Dr. Bob.
  • Hunger depletes steadily. You can restore it by eating various foods that you find around the store.

Food, drinks, and medkits can be found in various areas around the store. Food and drink is often found in kitchen displays or cafeteria counters. If you find them, you can store these in your inventory for use later.

Employees

Employees are the main danger in 3008. These may resemble other players from a distance, but you can usually tell them apart by their blue, red, and yellow uniforms. They also have no face at all.

  • During the day, you may see Employees in the store, though they will not be dangerous.
  • At night, when the store lights turn off, they will begin patrolling.
  • If an Employee spots you, they will pursue you and attack. They are able to outrun the average player.
  • Every tenth night a Blood Night will take place. Blood Nights increase the spawn rate of Employees and make them run faster and jump higher.

Building

Nearly all large objects in 3008 can be lifted and manipulated. This furniture is used to build barricades and structures that will prevent Employees from entering areas. To pick up an object, hover your cursor over it and use the Pickup command.

When holding the object, you can rotate it on any axis. Once you’re done, hit Pickup again to drop the object. Items in the air will be affected by gravity, though can be clipped into other items to support them.

How To Survive

The object of 3008 is to try and survive for as long as possible. The following instructions should help you get past the early stages.

  • Find food during the day. Food will replenish on Mondays and Fridays and will appear in the same places, so find a reliable source. You can store some in your inventory and use it as you need it.
  • Build a shelter. Employees cannot move objects, so you will be safe in enclosed areas. Employees will try to climb and jump, so make sure to not leave ledges on the outside walls of your shelter.
  • Place waypoints next to things that are useful, and especially next to your base. This will help you find a way back if you get lost or die.
  • You can cooperate with other players to build. They cannot see your waypoints though, so it may be hard to find each other if you get lost.
  • If the daytime phase is foggy, Employees are still hostile. Be careful.
  • Do not go out during a Blood Night unless you have no possible alternative.
