How To Run In Shrimp Game
Okay, let’s talk about it.
How To Run
Unlike how to push in Shrimp Game, you don’t need a special power up to run. If you’re using a keyboard, you can hold SHIFT to run. Running causes your character to speed up, and may give greater length to a jump. You don’t have limited stamina, so you can run as much as you want, but the nature of the games means being quite direct with your movements, so don’t just sprint around aimlessly.
What Is Running Used For?
Running is handy in some games. Less so in others. Overall it’s a useful skill to have. A few places where it’s helpful, if not downright necessary, are in the situations below.
- Completing Red Light Green Light – You must cross the line before time runs out, and that usually means running for it. Just make sure you’re able to stop in good time!
- Mingle – You might need to run for one of the doors in Mingle if you want to survive. Doors are often limited in number so running for one might be your only chance to survive.
- Lights Out – Use your speed to stay away from players who want to stab you.. or to catch players you’re trying to stab. We’re not here to judge.
- Squid Game – The ending round requires you to be quick on your feet, which can make running around a good option.
We’ve found running isn’t a great idea in Glass Bridge, because it’s very easy to overreach and fall off the glass panes, so only run if you’re very low on time.
