The recent Working Bees update added crafting to Grow A Garden. Is it another shortlived event feature? Or will you be able to craft long into the future? Is crafting permanent in Grow A Garden? This is what we decided to find out.

Is Crafting Permanent In Grow A Garden?
Update: As of the Summer Update, Crafting is now present as a permanent feature, near the pet stall at the edge of the field.
Is Crafting Supposed To Stay?
The crafting mechanic came in during the Working Bees update. Event mechanics are usually a temporary business. Crafting though? A bit different. Lead Developer Jandel posted on the Grow A Garden Discord, saying the following:
“After the event, we want to hear from the community if you like crafting… so will run a community poll to see if you’d like crafting to become a permanent part of the game.”
So, the crafting mechanic could leave with the end of the bees event as Grow A Garden transitions into the Summer season, or it could stay around as a permanent fixture in game, maybe with some different recipes depending on the event and season.
What’s The Latest?
Recently, the official Grow A Garden Discord ran a poll on keeping the crafting mechanic. As of the last time we checked the ratio for the vote was at:
- 84% voted to keep crafting.
- 16% voted to get rid of crafting.
If numbers stay like this, there’s a good chance that we’ll see crafting stick around in the future. We’d still suggest that you craft everything you want to craft before the weekend though, just in case the recipes change. (Or if you’re like us, keep endlessly grinding the Crafter’s Seed Pack for Dragon Peppers.) You don’t want to be left with lingering regrets.
