Is The Seed Shop Getting Wiped?
Update: The update is here! It appears that some seeds from the old seed shop have stuck around, like the carrt, strawberry, watermelon, and Sugar Apple are back, while others are out.
According to leaks, admin messaged, and rumors in the player base we have reasonably good reason to believe that the Seed Shop will undergo a major rehaul in the Summer update, with at least some of the staples in the shop swapping out for new crops.
This means there’s a good chance that a lot of the seeds you’re used to won’t be available from the Seed Shop any more.
What Should You Do To Get Ready?
Don’t panic. If you want to be ready for the new update, we’d suggest that you take care of the following things before the update time on Saturday.
- Stock up on Seeds.
- Prioritize Prismatic Seeds like Beanstalks and Sugar Apples. (If they’re ever in stock.)
- Organize your garden.
- You might need some space for the new crops, especially as there’s a new event on the way. Make sure of the trowel to arrange things better, and maybe dig up some of the plants that aren’t doing much for you.
- Spend your honey.
- The bees will leave with the arrival of the Summer update. Make sure you spend all the honey you learned at the crafting stations, or with the Queen Bee before the update rolls around, so you don’t waste your resources.
