Kaiju Paradise 3.1R Update Guide

Feature image for our Kaiju Paradise 3.1 update guide. It shows an in-game screen of a laboratory front, letter falling off the sign. It's in a gave full of glowing crystals.

Want to know what strange new creatures are haunting the halls of Kaiju Paradise right now? Well, we’re here to keep you informed. Our Kaiju Paradise 3.1R update guide runs over the content included in latest update, and what’s changed.

Kaiju Paradise is a PVP game set in an underground lab where people are mysteriously turning into weird anthropomorphic animals called ‘Gootraxians’. Spawn in as a human or a creature. If you’re a human you’ll need to try and survive with what weapons you can find. If you’re a Gootraxian, you need to find the humans and convert them into another of your team.

You can grab Kaiju Paradise on  Roblox.

So, what’s new? We’ve split this up into topics so you can scroll to whatever interests you the most.

Design Revamps

Something looks a little different about the gootraxians today, did they get haircuts? Go on a diet? No, most of the creatures received some major visual reworks this update. Love them or hate them, there are some major changes in designs for nearly all of the monsters.

A few designs have gone entirely, replaced by similar monsters with comparable skills, so if you mained one of the gootraxians that got wiped, at least you won’t have to mix up your play style too much. (Though that may not ease the pain.)

Map Changes

It’s not only the mutated creatures of Kaiju Paradise that got a new look. A number of locations on the map look very different now. Some rooms are larger, and there are new effects that better reflect the usage of the room.

Places that got reworks include:

  • Cafeteria
  • Garden
  • Storage Areas
  • Security Department

It’s fun to go check out the new setup. There are a few new hazards, and even some extra entrances and exits that weren’t there before, so plan your routes and defenses accordingly.

Plushies

Head over to the shop and you’ll find the plushie items look a little different. These new designs resemble some of the game’s developers! They still don’t do anything that will help you in-game, but they do squeak if you squeeze them. That has to count for something.

Hazmat

There’s a new hazmat suit. It’s not exactly high fashion, but it’s good to know. Maybe it’ll protect you from some of the hazards of the facility.
