Project Mugetsu Meditation Guide
To meditate, you must be a Soul Reaper. So, if you’re part of a different lineage and stumbled here, this guide won’t be all that helpful. Soul Reapers require meditation to progress and get their Shikai and Bankai. When meditation, you generate meditation EXP, used for your upgrades.
To begin meditation, hit K (or the same key bind). Whilst meditation is active you’ll participate in a mini-game. The game is quite stressful despite meditation typically being known for its relaxing properties. At the bottom of the game, a series of buttons will flash with letters and you have to select the matching letter correspondence. Every correct letter gives +1 Meditation EXP, whilst every incorrect one subtracts -10 Mediation EXP.
If you have x2 Mastery, this process is significantly quicker as you’ll earn double the EXP per correct click. Unless you select wrong in which case you lose double the amount of EXP than standard.
Obtaining Bankai and Shikai
For Bankai, you need Spiritual Progression. For this, you’ll need to be level 75 and fight your Zanpakuto. Once you have acquired enough Meditation EXP, a popup on the bottom of your screen will say ‘Fight Zanpakuto’ during Meditation. Clicking this enters you into a battle in which upon defeat, you get a sum of Meditation EXP and your Bankai.
For Shikai, you need to reach level 20 of meditation and have a player level of 15 or higher. Similarly, you need to fight your Zanpakuto once these requirements are met to get your Shikai.
