A strong economy is the beating heart of any good RPG. With its recent update, the Project XL trading systems have gotten a whole lot better, giving a nice boost to inter-player commerce. Read on for the full details.

Project XL is an Action RPG on the Roblox platform. Drawing inspiration from a wide range of anime series’, the game is a veritable melting pot of influences. It also features some very rare items, which may demand you get involved in player trading. In this guide, we’ll show you just how to do that.

Project XL is free to play via Roblox right now. For more on the game, check out our Project XL Fire Dragon Slayer Magic guide. For a different kind of anime experience, give our Anime Last Stand Gojo Build guide a read.

Project XL Trading Guide

In the past, trading in Project XL was handled in a roundabout manner. Players relied on the !giveitem command to pass items to others, with no safeguards in place to prevent players from receiving their items and running before giving back what was owed. Thankfully, the new system is both more intuitive and safer. We discuss it in detail below.

How To Trade With Friends In Project XL

To start the trading process, first you’ll need to click the ‘Trade’ button on the left-hand side of the screen. This will bring up a list of players on the server you can trade with. Select the one you’d like to trade with and they’ll be sent a trade request notification. If they accept, the trade process will begin.

The trade interface is very simple. Each player has a box, into which they can add items they wish to trade. To do this, they click the + button in their trade box to open their Inventory, then choose which items they’d like to add to their side of the bargain. Once you’re happy with the deal, click the ‘Not Ready’ button below your box to switch to ‘Ready.’ When both players have done this, the trade will be carried out!

While this new system does prevent scamming in the traditional sense, you should still be vigilant when engaging in trades. Make sure you check over each item carefully before hitting ‘Ready,’ and check the values of the items involved using a trusted source if possible to make sure you’re not getting ripped off.
