The volcano awakens, and in its wake, this hot new area birthed the Prospecting Dragonflame Pan. This guide details this Pan’s stats, ability, and whether it’s worth its expensive investment despite the tool having a built-in debuff.
Take some suncream, and head over to the Volcano via Roblox. Find out more about this pan in our Prospecting Pans Guide. Or, see how it compares in my Prospecting Pans Tier List!
Prospecting Dragonflame Pan Guide
The Dragonflame Pan has garnered attention due to its hailing from the new Volcanic area. That and, as of its release, it’s the most expensive Pan to own. So, surely it’s good?
In exchange for $400,000,000 within the Magma Furnace, you’ll receive the Dragfonflame Pan, which has the base stats of:
- Luck: 150
- Capacity: 180
- Shake Strength: 10
- Shake Speed: 110%
- Ability [passive]: Melts through the sand; however, its scorching heat will reduce all mineral size by 10%.
Is It Worth It?
That debuff passive is hard to ignore. However, the Dragonflame Pan doubles the amount of Luck and then some from the previous meta Pan, the Worldshaker (70 Luck). No matter which way you shake it, the Dragonflame has much better panning stats than any pan before it.
The debuff is merely there to balance such an overpowered tool. That said, I recommend enchanting it and aiming to achieve one of the following:
- Boosting [5% chance] – +10% size boost.
- Titanic [1% chance] – +20% size boost and +30 Capacity.
Either of these will offset its debuff ability, making it one hell of a Pan to utilise! Alternatively, you could craft a size-boosting artefact to wear, though this is material and price-intensive and depends on your fortune when panning.
How To Reach The Volcano Island
To reach the Volcano Island and buy the Dragonflame Pan, you need to complete the Lighthouse questline, which requires you to find x1 Luminum. This legendary mineral is found along Sunset Beach, Crystal Cavern River, and Azuralite Oasis.
After passing the Lightkeeper the Luminum, the Lighthouse becomes operational again, and you can speak to the Ferryman along the Docks of Fortune River to travel to the Volcanic Island known as the Caldera Island!
