Reverse 1999 Restraining Training

The Restraining Training crops up within the Camping Safety Guide, and due to poor translation has got players confused! The Stage 03 Normal has a rather un-legible task versus the other two tasks from this section. This guide will focus on the Normal Difficulty mode for the Camping Safety Guide, which when complete awards players with 30 Clear Drops.

As irritating as it is, this task is actually pretty simple once you’ve deciphered the rough translation, which we took the liberty of doing for you!

Stage 03 Normal

[Ally] Inflicting Restraining ATK makes the target lose 100% of their max HP. Otherwise, you lose 100% of your max HP.

What this essentially means is that if you don’t perform a “Restraining ATK” move to destroy an enemy’s HP to 0, you will be drained to 0 HP instead. It’s quite a demanding task with an unforgiving drawback if you mess up, which many players have thanks to the poor translation!

Other players initially assumed this was a de-buffer given it implies the enemy gets restrained hence the “restraining ATK”… In actuality, the game is referring to the Afflatus which is most effective when in combat. All you have to do now is figure out which Afflatus the enemy is weakest to so you can correspond it to your deck and apply a strong Afflatus to destroy the enemy.
