What Is The Frigid Shovel?
The Frigid Shovel is a mid-game shovel in Dig.
It has the following stats:
- Control: 6
- Strength: 8
- Haste: 4.5
- Luck: 22
- Damage: 50
The shovel also has a passive ability. Using it gives a chance that any objects unearthed with it will gain the Frigid mutation, and with it a 1.8x boost to its sale value. This does make it useful for making money without too much extra effort.
How Do You Get The Frigid Shovel?
You can buy the shovel in-game for $75,000. You can find it in the Glacial Cavern, at the following coordinates: 4471, 1115, -2506. If you’re not sure how to get there, we’ll outline the route in more detail, all the way from Fox Town.
- Leave Fox Town through the back road exit, past the Charm Shop.
- Follow the road down to a crossroads. Take the left-hand fork.
- Follow the road a short distance to another crossroads with an old cart. Take the right-hand fork this time.
- Follow the road up a hill into the Rooftop Woodlands.
- Once you reach the Rooftop Woodlands, follow the road, turning right at the Merchant, you should turn almost back on yourself as the road takes a sharp bank around a rock wall.
- Keep on the road, and you should reach Cinder’s Approach.
- Follow the long, winding path up the mountain. You should eventually take a right turn, and then reach a small, snowy village.
- Drive through the village and into an open snowy area. You should see a cave with large spikes of ice. Drive inside.
- At the back of the cave, on the left, you should find a narrow cavern. Head inside and follow the tunnel along. Eventually, it will leave you to the Frigid Shovel.
