Roblox How To Train Your Dragon Dragons Guide

There are currently three different dragons available in-game, with a forth on the way at the weekend. Let’s run over each, and how to get hold of them.

The Night Fury

The Night Fury is the iconic dragon of the franchise. It has black scales, big green eyes, and fins on its tail.

How To Get

You get the Night Fury as soon as you start the game by completing the taming minigame. Once that’s over, you can use the Night Fury for the tutorial missions, and ride it freely around the map.

Is The Night Fury Good?

The Night Fury is a relatively fast dragon, but with a pretty balanced set of stats that lets it work pretty well for any tasks. It’s not as strong attack-wise as the Gronkle, but make up for it in being a lot easier to maneuver. A good starter dragon.

Gruesome Gronckle

The Gronckle is a rotund fellow, rounded with craggy green skin and a wide mouth, with small wings.

How To Get

You pick up the Gronckle from the first island past the hub. You should get a mission to free him from captivity as soon as you’re done with the tutorial missions. Take your Night Fury over there and destroy all the rock-slinging targets, then fly down, jump off your dragon, and interact with its cage to free the Gruesome Gronkle and make a new friend.

Is The Gruesome Gronckle Good?

The Gronkle is a powerful fighter, with better health than the Night Fury and impressive fire-breathing ability. Its one letdown is it’s not the fastest dragon around, and you will feel the difference after zooming around on the more agile Night Fury. This can take some getting used to, but the Gronkle is handy for taking care of some of the more hard-hitting targets.

Deadly Nadder

The Deadly Nadder is a blue-skinned dragon with two powerful back legs and wings for arms.

How To Get

You can pick up the Deadly Nadder from the second island out, but you can’t got straight over after getting the Gronckle. You need to level up your Rider Level to 5. You can do this by flying through ring courses, destroying targets, fishing, and taking care of your dragons.

Hideous Zippleback

The Hideous Zippleback is easy to identify, because it has two heads.

How To Get

The Hideous Zippleback will become available this weekend, with the latest update.
