Complete Second Piece Haki Guide

In this guide, we’ll walk you through the process of obtaining both of the Haki available in Second Piece. We’ll also discuss what each one does in combat.

How To Get Ken

You can acquire Ken Haki by using the Kenbunshoku Haki Book item. You have a 15% chance of finding this item in a Chest. In addition, you can also purchase it from the Travelling Merchant NPC. This character’s stock is random, but when he has the Book in he’ll give it you in exchange for the following:

  • 3,500 Gems
  • Lightning Orb x1
  • Infinity Orb x1

What Does Ken Do?

Once you have Ken Haki, you can press the T key to activate it. While active, you will automatically dodge the vast majority of enemy attacks, making you nearly untouchable in combat. This ability varies in effectiveness based on how much HP you have, and works best when you’re fully topped up.

How To Get Buso

The method for gaining Buso Haki is exactly the same as that for Ken. The only difference is that instead of the Kenbunshoku Book, you need to use the Buso Haki Book for this one. You can either find this Book randomly in a Chest, or purchase it from the Travelling Merchant when he has it in stock.

What Does Buso Do?

Once acquired, you can activate your Buso Haki by pressing the G key. While active, it gives you a whopping 25% damage boost. This is extremely useful, particularly on high-level characters with high base stats.
