Sorcery Weapons Guide
Weapons don’t tend to be anyone’s main combat option in titles with unique powers. However, sleeping on these excellent secondary choices could make all the difference between life and death. In Sorcery, Weapons come in clutch when your Cursed Energy is low, but you’re still facing hoards of enemies that need defeating.
Currently, the only way we know of in which you find Weapons is by looting chests found around the map. Each Weapon has a weight distribution that impacts its attacking speed, and a built-in standard attack, critical attack and aerial attack.
Light Weapons
These smaller weapons have great agility and attack enemies quickly without much room for pushing back.
- Inverted Spear of Heaven
- M1 – Fast forward jabs with a player spin before the final lunge.
- Critical – A really quick attack where the player slides forward and slashes upwards.
- Tanto Blade
- M1 – Quick slashes in a straight line towards a target.
- Critical – Fast lunge forwards with a strong upwards strike.
Medium Weapons
Medium Weapons perform average, with an equalised weight-to-attack ratio. They’re the most balanced option for players who lack confidence when wielding a blade.
- Standard Katana
- M1 – forward overhead slashes.
- Critical – A slide and upwards strike.
- Jet Black Blade
- M1 – A series of consecutive slashes.
- Critical – A slide and upwards strike.
Heavy Weapons
Large, broad weapons that hit heavy but swing slowly. Landing hits on enemies with these will devastate their health, so long as they don’t dodge or block in time.
- Dragonbone
- M1 – Overhead slashes that finish with a forward jab at a target.
- Critical – A lunge and overhead slash attack.
