How To Get The Spongebob Simulator The Hunt Badge – Tips On All Three Tasks!

An image of a character with the Spongebob Morph equipped in Roblox game Spongebob Simulator.

Spongebob is no stranger to hunts, particularly those of the jellyfish variety. If you want the Spongebob Simulator The Hunt badge, though, you’ll need to do something a little bit different. Read on for a full guide to the process.

Spongebob Simulator is an officially-licensed Spongebob experience on the Roblox platform. It brings all your favourite characters from the show together in a kind of gacha/auto-clicker fusion, with a compelling gameplay loop that leads you across all of Bikini Bottom. It also has some tricky tie-in quests for The Hunt, which I’ll break down in the guide below.

You can dive into Spongebob Simulator right now via Roblox. For more on The Hunt, check out our Need More Friends The Hunt guide and our Spray Paint The Hunt guide.

As soon as you load up Spongebob Simulator, you’ll see our spongy friends standing near the spawn point with a ‘The Hunt’ icon above his head. Go up to him and you’ll be presented with a list of three quests. Complete all of these, and the badge is yours. The quests are as follows.

Part 1 – Destroy 55 Chests In Area 1

For this quest, you’ll need to take out 55 Chests in Area 1, which is the first area in the game you’ll need to unlock. It costs 3,000 Clams to access this area. Chests can take a while to wear down, so be sure to purchase Golden Flower Clams whenever you can to power up your team. Don’t bother with regular Clams, here or later on. I’ve found them to be a waste of money in the long run.

After completing this step, you can return to Spongebob or click on The Hunt icon on the right of the screen to claim your reward. In this case, it’s a Large Stardust Bottle, which gives 25 Stardust to one of your Morphs.

Part 2 – Destroy 100 Doubloon Piles In Area 2

The next step is similar to the first, but with a new target in a new area. If you haven’t unlocked Area 2 yet, you can do so for 12,000 Clams. You need to destroy a whopping 100 Doubloon Piles here, but they tend to be easier to destroy than Chests, especially if you’re keeping your team up to date.

In this area, you’ll want to buy Golden Sand Shell Clams to boost your team. Remember to hit ‘Equip Best’ on the Buddies menu to ensure you’re always playing optimally! For completing this step, you get a Small Stardust Bottle, which grants 5 Stardust to one of your Morphs.

Part 3 – Destroy 25 Drills In Area 3

For the final phase, you’ll need to make it all the way to Area 3. This is no mean feat, as you’ll need to build up 100,000 Clams in Area 2 in order to unlock it. I’d recommend focusing on the traps that spawn next to Patrick’s rock, since they give a lot of Clams and are fairly easy to break.

Once you’re in Area 3, you need to take down 25 Drills to wrap up The Hunt quests. These are fairly durable objects, so make sure you grab some Golden Sea Weed Clams to buff your team up. If you do, it shouldn’t take too long to bring down 25 of them.

Once you’re done, that’s the quest over! You can claim your final in-game reward, a Huge Stardust Bottle, from the menu, then claim The Hunt badge itself to the right of that. Another badge down, another step closer to collecting those cosmetics.
