In this guide, we’ll go over Astaroid’s location, its stats and Ability, and how you can use it as a Mount.
Where To Find Astaroid
Astaroid is unusual in that it’s not exclusive to a particular location, but rather a particular Weather type. It can appear anywhere in the game while the Shooting Stars Weather is active. You should be able to tell when this is, due to the yellow meteors in the sky, but you can double-check by opening the ‘Traveling’ tab in the menu. This will show you the world map, and the current Weather will be listed on the right.
While Astaroid can appear anywhere in the game, it seems to show up more regularly at Fable Falls. For this reason, as soon as you see that Shooting Stars is active, make your way to Fable Falls to maximise your chances of getting an Astaroid.
Stats And Abilities
So you’ve caught an Astraroid, now what does it have to offer your team? Quite a lot, it turns out. While it doesn’t evolve, it has very solid base stats right out of the box. These are as follows.

As you can tell, Astaroid is a great all-rounder, capable of giving and taking hits both up close and at range. His Health and Speed aren’t amazing, but his other stats are incredibly solid.
In addition, he’s also a Cosmic type, which has advantages against Water, Fire, Air, Earth, and other Cosmic types. It also has great resistances, only being weak to Psychic, Dark, and Cosmic type attacks.
To top it all off, Astaroid has the Starstruck Ability. While it’s unclear what this does at time of writing, it likely gives it a nice extra edge in combat.
Getting The Astaroid Mount
Astaroid is more than just a powerful Tanorian in battle. It’s also one of the few Tanorians that you can use as a Mount to explore the world. To do this, you’ll need two things. An Astaroid, caught using the methods described above, and the Astaroid Mount item.
You can buy this item at the Saddle Central shop in Nikido City for 150 Robux. At time of writing, there are no ways of acquiring this item for free to play players. Once you have the Mount and Astaroid, you can equip it via the Mount tab in the pause menu, and enjoy the star-surfing action!
