Tales Of Tanorio Chewaqua Evolution Guide

Getting Chewaqua
The easiest way to get hold of Chewaqua is picking one as a Tanaku Research Corporation in Tanaku Village. Didn’t pick Chewaqua from the lineup? It’s not a complete deal-breaker, but you’ll need to look for one with Conservation Incense active if you want to catch a wild one!
Chewaqua Line Moves
Chewaqua’s evolutionary line can learn the following moves.
- Strike – Hits for Normal-type damage.
- Yelp – Support-type move. Lowers target’s attack.
- Water Spout – Ranged attack for Water-type damage.
- Blubber – Support-type move. Halves the damage of the next Fire or Ice damage move.
- Chomp – Physical attack. Hits for Dark-Type damage.
- Ghostly Glare – Support-type move. Causes Paralysis status effect.
- Aqua Pulse – Ranged Attack. Deals Water-Type damage.
- Claw Mark – Physical Attack. Deals Dark-Type damage.
- Skeletal Wail – Physical Attack. Prevents switching out.
- Hydro Hammer – Physical Attack. Hits for Water-Type damage.
Chewaqua’s Ability
The Chewaqua line’s ability is Bubble Bath, which negates the damage from Water-Type attacks.
Chewaqua Line Evolutions
Chewaqua evolves twice through leveling as it gains in XP. Below we’ve detailed each of the evolutions and when they appear.
- Chewaqua evolves into Aquazol at Level 16.
- Aquazol evolves into Jespirit at Level 36, and gains the Ghost Typing.
