Having a good team early game is key in the survival of the fittest. Knowing which Tanorians are most useful early on helps you not waste time evolving the lesser-performing units. Kitweed is an excellent Grass-type Tanorian to offer a place on your team (so long as you didn’t pick the Grass starter that is).

Tales of Tanorio Kitweed
Kitweed is one of the cuter Grass Tanorians available to catch and enlist in your team. More than this, the Tanorian enjoys up to 2 evolutions and is a pseudo legendary! What this means is that Kitweed and its evolutions enjoy the same stats as a legendary Tanorian, without the rarity of being legendary.
Quite luckily, this Tanrian can be found as early as Route 2 but is quite the rare find having a 5% spawn chance.
Kitweed Evolutions + Stats
As mentioned, Kitweed enjoys two evolutions after its base form. These are Pufferal which evolves starting at level 30, and Dandylion which is a dual type between Grass and Light, evolving at level 40.
Kitweed and its evolutions are pseudo legendaries, giving them the same base statistics as the legendary Flowither. However, this does not make Kitweed and its evolution invincible. All Tanorians have weaknesses and strengths, so be sure to utilize Kitweed in fights where it has the elemental advantage.
Kitweed and Pufferal Stats:
- 1/2x Resistance: Grass, Water, Electric, Earth, Light
- 2x Weakness: Fire, Air, Bug, Ice, Poison

- 0x Immunity: Ghost
- 1/2x Resistance: Grass, Water, Electric, Earth, Light, Fairy, Dragon, Fighting
- 2x Weakness: Air, Bug, Gem, Ice, Dark, Metal, Poison

- Attack: 80
- Defence: 35
- Ranged Attack: 60
