About Manxo
Manxo is a fighting-type Tanorian found in the wild. It’s currently the only monotype Fighting Tanorian available in the game. It evolves into Dualram, a fighting/fairy-type Tanorian at level 20.
It’s resistant to the following damage types.
- Bug
- Dark
- Gem
Manxo’s primary ability is Double Hit.
How To Catch Manxo
You can find wild Manxo at the following locations.
- Arksworth
- Nature Reserve
- Pontero Pasture
The earliest area you can encounter it is Arksworth. I found mine by exit gate from Arksworth, in the patch of grass by the right of the gate. This was at sunset and during rainy weather, though the Tanorian appears to show up at other times.
The following types do extra damage to Manxo, so use these with caution when trying to catch one if your Tanorians use moves with this typing. You might deal more damage than you expected!
- Air
- Psychic
- Fairy
Catching Tips
Here are some general tips for catching.
- Work HP down with low-damage moves. Critical hits can still take you by surprise, so ideally lower the Tanorian’s health slowly.
- Upgraded Tanocans increase your odds of capture, though seem to mostly be restricted to Gamepass users at the moment.
- Stock up on Tanocans. If one doesn’t work, keep trying until you succeed!
