Shiny Tanorians are an aesthetic cosmetic with no stat buff. Yet still shiny Tanorians have so much appeal that players will actively seek them despite their low spawn chance and null benefits. The whole appeal of shiny variants is that their original pelt colour will be unusual from the standard, and they emit a small twinkling shine.

Tales of Tanorio Rarest Shinies
Shiny rarity follows a similar mathematical formula to dictate the chances. Some Tanorians offer a generous gamble versus other catch ’em franchises. But, this does not mean all Tanorians are created equal with the same chances. By this I mean that the spawn chance for some Tanorians might be so low that their shiny chance takes significantly longer to hunt, making their shiny a rarer variant.
Top 5 Rarest Shinies
Let’s get into the top rarest shinies!
Starter Tanorians – There are only two ways to obtain starters, resetting the game, or using a Conservation Incense. You can technically grind to get shiny starters, but if you’re hoping for a chance encounter your chances are very slim. If you’re hoping for luck with the Conservation Incense it’ll net you 250 Robux for 10 minutes of hunt time.
Fordrake – Fordrake’s shiny is so rare due to the extremely low spawn rate. Found exclusively in The Mine Depths with a 1% spawn chance, this Tanorian has a 1 in 200,000 chance to be shiny.
Opaline – This base form can be found at Dewfall Den, there is a 1 in 70 chance to encounter this Tanorian, with its shiny having a 1 in 140,000 spawn chance.
Event Drippo – This exclusive retextured Drippo is the current Rupture feature. Whilst it does have a 1 in 2500 chance for shiny, eventually the Event Drippo will be removed from the game entirely making it exclusive to the players who managed to bag one. That and, the Ruptures are quite tricky to complete.
Flowither – Flowither is the RAREST shiny by chance in the game. This Legendary Tanorian can only be found after succeeding in the boss fight. After that it has a 1 in 1000 world spawn chance, and then a 1 in 2 million shiny chance
